To Love a Mockingbird

Instead I am writing this because that is what you should be doing when you have only two days to prepare for vacation, right? I thought so. I just can’t seem to get motivated and get it done. This is usually how it happens though and then tomorrow afternoon I will be running around like a crazy chick all hopped up on fertility meds with raging hormones (sounds fun doesn’t it, I bet you are wishing you were here now!).

Silence – - crickets chirping

I figured I could make this post into a sort of To Do List and maybe get all of my ducks in a row. Then again when I see how much I actually have to do I might just sit here and cry…

• remove suitcase from closet
• pack clothes for family
• decide what muffins or cupcakes to make
• make muffins or cupcakes
• purchase sunglasses
• purchase sunscreen (or in Lucy speak “sunscream”)
• purchase gift for birthday party we will be attending in route to the beach
• clean out car
• WASH car
• rip music to iPod
• create a beach playlist for iPod and title it Vacate the State ‘08 (get it? The bad part is that I have spent weeks trying to come up with something clever!)
• shave legs (I was informed of this by Lucy who said my legs were pwickly)
• charge batteries
• learn how to operate my video camera
• get medicines together (just in case)
• paint toenails
• tan and tan
• pack Lucy’s noise maker (thanks for reminding me Honey)
• pack potty seat

And that is all I can think of right now but I’m sure that I will think of more, you know, because I like to pack everything! (just in case) I’ll keep you updated on the process!
